2026 Jeep Wrangler Specs

The Jeep Wrangler specs are unmatched and unforgettable. Honestly, who doesn't want to rule the road with open-air freedom, trail-ready fittings, and ample customization possibilities? For the 2026 model year, the Wrangler retains an appealing range of powertrain options and paint colors that look both rugged and elegant – including one that pays homage to the SUV's storied World War II roots.

Jeep Wrangler Transmission Options

Enthusiasts are in for a treat: the six-speed manual transmission has made a return this year, providing drivers with an immersive driving experience. However, some may prefer a less intensive experience, which can be had with the eight-speed automatic transmission.

To enjoy a standard manual Jeep Wrangler transmission, choose a Sport, Sport S, Willys, Rubicon, or Rubicon X trim. These V-6 variants can also be built as automatics, while Sahara, Willys '41, and Moab 392 models are automatic-only builds. Models equipped with the turbocharged four-cylinder are likewise only available with automatic transmissions.

2026 Jeep Wrangler Dimensions

Because you can build most trim levels of this trail-ready machine in two- or four-door configurations (except for the Moab 392 model, it's only available in a four-door configuration), Jeep Wrangler dimensions – particularly exterior length and rear legroom – can vary. The Moab 392 also has unique interior measurements as well.

  • Two-Door: Seating for four, 31.7-cubic-foot maximum cargo capacity, 166.8 inches long by 73.9 inches wide
  • Four-Door: Seating for five, 72.4-cubic-foot maximum cargo capacity, 188.4 inches long by 73.9 inches wide
  • Four-Door Moab 392: Seating for five, 67.4-cubic-foot maximum cargo capacity, 188.4 inches long by 73.9 inches wide

In all but the top-tier Moab 392 model, two-door setups also come with up to 41.2 inches of front legroom and 35.7 inches of rear legroom, while four-door configurations have matching front leg space but an extra 2.6 inches in the back to fit kids or car seats.
